Important Notice: Beware of Recruitment Scams
Scammers are impersonating recruitment companies to deceive jobseekers by:
- Posting fake job ads.
- Requesting personal or financial details.
- Asking for payments under the guise of fees for DBS checks, training or other services.
How to Identify a Genuine Response Recruitment Message:
- We only reach out to candidates who have applied for a job directly with us via our official website or business emails.
- CVs should only be submitted through verified social media channels.
- We only call candidates from our official telephone number which is 020 8965 1575 and listed on our ‘Contact Us’ webpage.
- Genuine emails will always come from @responserecruitment.co.uk. To verify if an email is genuine, hover over the sender’s email address or click ‘Details’ to see the full domain name. If it’s anything other than @responserecruitment.co.uk, it is not from us.
Steps to Stay Safe:
- If you’re unsure about a job offer or message, call us on our official number to confirm, the number again is 020 8965 1575.
- We will never request payment for job placements, DBS checks or for any other reason.
- Be alert for warning signs such as
- Messages from unknown or unofficial numbers/emails.
- Poorly written job adverts or offers that seem too good to be true.
- Requests for payment or for sensitive personal details.
If You Suspect a Scam:
- Immediately block the sender’s telephone number and email address.
- Contact Action Fraud via their official website which is www.actionfraud.police.uk
